i am planning on going to IRM's diesel days and then do some rrfanning in Rochelle and then some closer to Chicago, wanted to let people know. hope to see you guys out there.

Have fun at IRM...I'll be attending a train show and then head up to Clinton, IA. for a day. Maybe we'll run across one another. ;)

maybe, how has train traffic on the Geneva sub been lately and how has the BNSF through Rochelle been?

Traffic on the Geneva Sub is running as usual at this point as well as on the BNSF. I know there is supposed to be major storms going through Iowa within the next day or two, so if they get a lot of rain it would not surprise me to see the UP line shut down again. Good luck this weekend!

ok i was wondering if they had slowed down, has BNSF or UP been running run through trains from other lines?

Unfortunitaley the trip was cancled because i have a Jackass of a friend whos mom is Way to over protected.
