Hello all,

I was wondering, what is your favorite prototype locomotive model(s) and tell us why you like it (them) if you want! :)

My favorite locomotive models are:

EMD

(1) GP30
(2) SD45/45-2
(3) SD40-2
(4) SD40T-2/45T-2
(5) SD70ACe/70M-2

GE

(1) AC6000CW
(2) SP's AC4400CW
(3)ES44AC/DC

Those are my favorites, I love the early EMD’s, like the GP30 and SD45, they where very unique, yet they where owned by nearly every Class 1 in North America!

Im a fan of the first generation power from EMD SD7 & 9 along with the early GP9 with thier whine of the dynamic brakes and to see a string of E9a and bs with a City Streamliner in tow or on mail trains 5 & 6 on the union pacific or trains 7 and 8 mail trians on the CB&Q were a sight to see larry
