Mendota - Rochelle, Illinois - May 25th, 2007

Hello everyone,

Today I had a bit of fun while railfannning in both Mendota and Rochelle, first off, caught BNSF 7644 (ES44DC) at the grain load-out in Mendota then a nice and clean BNSF GP38-2 downtown by the Amtrak station. Then in Rochelle I found an old BNSF GP15-1, still in BN paint, also saw BNSF B40-8 8607 (H1). Other than that, just the same old UP yellow and gray. As soon as it got too dark for photos a BNSF pig train barrals through town with an ex-SF SD45-2 #6465, she looked really nice and clean! And it was too dark for photos.
