Kate Shelly High Bridge

Kate Shelly High Bridge

If you happen to be in Boone over the next couple of days the High Bridge is nearing completion. Track 1 is being cut in today August 20th, and Tomorrow is picture day with photos being taken of trains on both the old and new bridges. Then on Saturday the 22nd track 2 will be cut over. I will be off due a doctors appiontment on Friday so if you will be here I would move any or all of you Larry

Awesome...thank you for that report Larry! I won't be around, would be really cool to see though...you'll have to get photos for me! Kinda sad in a way...the end of an era for a awesome bridge!
