With permission today I was able to view the progress of the new Brigde and some everlasting shots of thw Kate Shelly. With a neat angle as well.

The shows not over yet, when I asked to view the Kate Shelly I was also granted to be on private property for a few trains.
The first train was UP 8385 with a stack train moving across the fourm B limits

After the UP 6513 I thanked the indvidual who granted me permission to be on the private property and went to mile 215 for the rest of the afternoon
Before leaving the KSHB aera UP 4416 would show her self

awsome photos, please keep us updates on the bridge i would like to go out to the bridge to catch the last train over the Kate Shelly and the first on the new bridge, if you could will you PM me and tell me how you got the permission, we looked for a way to get back there for over a hour and never found it so we just continued to head east towards Rochelle.

Sorry to dissapoint you but I'd rather not say . I hope you will understand. But If you would have gone on the north side of Boone on Marion Street and go west theres a nice view of the brigde there.

Nice photos there Todd. Sad to see the new bridge shadowing the KSHB like that :(...end of an era I guess. :( Nice photos though...thanks for showing us and please keep us posted!
