Postby cnwfan51 on Tue Jan 15, 2008 8:30 pm

Thru the day I have learned that amtrak was going to detour across the mainline today due to a derailment on the BNSF coal trian earlier today and couldnt because of the carrroll derailment Sounds like the Iowa Interstae is going to get a lot of detour traffixc between Des Moines and Conucil Bluffs The railroad is hoping to have the line open later tonight or early Wednesday more as it becomes availible Larry
